The Correct Price (finally) for a Great Product
EDIT: This card will NOT work on the 3DS. Nintendo made an announcement that 3DS cards will go on sale at a later date.I'm writing this review for two reasons.1. To balance out all of the negative reviews because of the price. Amazon has finally priced this at the $20 it should be, so there's no need for those negative reviews anymore.2. Because of all the great games for WiiWare and the Virtual Console (currently, there isn't much to buy on the DSI. Edit: This has definitely changed since this was initially written). We all know about the scores of excellent classic games for all of the old systems on the Virtual Console. But WiiWare is proving to be truly impressive. How to use the Nintendo Points Card:

1. To redeem on the Wii console, start the console and proceed to the Wii Shop Channel. To redeem on Nintendo DSi, start the system and proceed to the Nintendo DSi Shop.
2. Select the option to add points.
3. Select the option to redeem a Nintendo Points Card.
4. Scratch off the silver area on the back of the card to reveal the activation number. Enter the activation number into the appropriate field on the screen.
5. Choose your items and start downloading.

A great way to buy classic games
First things first: the Wii Points Card allows you to purchase classic video games from the NES, Super NES, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, and Turbo Grafix 16 consoles and download them onto your Wii console. Nintendo has many great old games available already and is adding more regularly (generally about once a week).Basic information: 100 Wii Points roughly equals 1 dollar. You should never pay more for a Wii Points card because you can buy the points directly from Nintendo at a rate of 100 to the dollar. On the flip side if you can get these cards cheaper (and sometimes you can buy them at a bit of a discount) you get a great deal.What's available: There are new games being released all the time. Bigger than I thought with same DSi functions!
Firstly I'd like to say I'm a 43 year old mom. I got into gaming several years ago and my kids and I have a lot of fun with the Nintendo DS. We have had the original DS, DS Lites, DSi's, and now the DSi XL. I got an XL for myself. My son has many GBA games so he doesn't want one (because the DSi XL cannot play any GBA - Gameboy Advance- games) and my daughter thought it was too big to be portable. She likes something that fits easily into a backpack or jacket pocket. Although I think the XL could I'd probably agree if you are going for portability then the regular DSi should do you just fine. The reason I chose the XL is because I play primarily at home and I play a lot of puzzle games. Someimes these types of games are hard to see, especially the seek and find. I'm hoping this larger sized one helps that.Even though I knew it was larger it is LARGER than I thought. That's a good thing because it is almost more like a PDA or something as far as size. It is all about the screen size!
I am a sixty year old gamer that likes to play Zelda and puzzle games. I had a black Nintendo dsi and loved the unit except for the fact that I was playing games two inches in front of my nose. In my own little nearsighted world, I got along okay and enjoyed the games. Then Nintendo came out with this XL unit......I got the bronze and think that it looks very fashion forward no matter what your age is. It is absolutely stunning and made my little black unit look pretty sad. That being said, Nintendo really did not promise anything other than a bigger screen and this unit delivers! You no longer have to struggle to see the screen. I have played Spirit Tracks on it so far and do not regret the upgrade from the dsi for even a nanosecond. When you think about it, would you rather watch a large television or one with a tiny screen...this is the same thing. The unit is larger but not so large that I would not put it in my purse and play it on the run. So far though, I have not...

PERFECTION! Nintendo Does It Again =)
Customer Video Review Length:: 2:58 MinsNintendo does it again!I am going to be honest when i say i really wanted the BURGUNDY colored DSi XL. However, when i stopped by my local Toys R Us today, there weren't any on display. I couldn't imagine myself walking around with a Pink DSi XL. I'm a guy after all! HahahaThis is an extremely well built device. One can feel the quality when the device is in your hand (Even though it says Made in China on the back). After all, this is Nintendo & they always deliver. I never upgraded to the DSi and i am so glad i held off because i didn't want to sacrifice my DS Lite and lose out on all my GB Advance games. I do not play Game Boy Advance games, although my daughter does. Overall, I really like the DSi and think it is a huge improvement over the DS & DS Lite, however, I wish they had released the device with more games and applications that take into account the new camera system. We also own a DS Lite and my kids are playing with the new version more than they ever did with the older version.First, the device feels great to hold. I bought the black version and the brushed surface gives the DSi a textured feel that is very comfortable to hold and makes you feel confident you won't drop it.Setup could not have been easier. The DSi connected with my wireless network on the first try, upgraded the software with no problems, and then downloaded the Opera browser and the WarioWare Snapped game immediately. No problems using my 1 GB SD card (I will be installing a larger SD card soon).The screen on the DSi is .25 inches bigger than the DS lite.
